Friday, October 5th brought us back to PyConES 2018 and we couldn't be more pleased. For the fourth consecutive year, we at A3Sec did our bit for the celebration of this event that is a source of inspiration and keeps us up to date with the technologies that are being created and used around the Python ecosystem.

This time, PyConES gathered in Malaga more than 600 participants within the community of developers and enthusiasts in Spain. Our multidisciplinary A3sec team joined this 3-day party as a Platinum Sponsor of one of the most awaited events in this field of computing.

At A3SEC we are looking for Python "fans

On the weekend of October 5-7, we ate, took and shared only in Python language. Once again we were face to face mastering the "snake" in a golden opportunity to learn even more about all the possibilities that this key giant of programming offers us.

And as in previous editions, now 6 PyConEs in Spain, we are still surprised that almost 30 years after being created as a simple distraction for a Christmas vacation, Python continues to grow and is so present in everything we do.

The truth is that we use Python as a programming language in all our developments, and we love it because it covers all our needs. We are constantly looking for new talents to join A3Sec and the PyConEs is an ideal place to discover those programmers we need.

Last year (2017) we actively participated giving a talk about visual recognition with Python (http://youtu.be/DSB3J0ZMLXg?a ) and in 2018 we focused on the importance of adding more Python developers who meet the Full Stack Developer profile.

Organized by Python España, Ebury, Yes we tech and Málaga Python, the PyConEs was hosted by the University of Málaga, specifically at the Complejo Tecnológico Teatinos. There are the headquarters of the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería Informática (ETSI) and the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería en Telecomunicaciones (ETSIT).

If you are a developer, this is for you

At A3Sec we are Python developers and therefore, the work we brought to the PyConEs allowed us to coincide again in this platform dedicated to learning, designed for the dissemination and cooperation of the developer community.

We know that this event allows us to meet people with the same challenges, issues and goals that we have. So we are always hiring good people and PyConEs provides us with the perfect scenario to find talent of all kinds.

The event allows us to meet them up close and let them know what we do and how we do it. If you are a developer, this is one of the job opportunities we have in A3Sec for you.

Full Stack Developer

If you want to join A3Sec's talent in Madrid, we are looking for developers with 2 to 4 years of experience in backend and frontend. We want to create a state-of-the-art monitoring tool, together with an R&D team.

To apply, you must master in back Python + django, version control with Git, Linux system administration (basic, mostly debian and ubuntu), as well as development and use of REST APIs. On the front end, we require you to know about HTML5 + CSS3, javascript + jquery and some kind of javascript framework like react.js.

In addition, we will take as an important plus the fact that you know technologies like Linux Scripting (bash, python, perl, ruby), database engines (MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Casandra), configuration deployment (salt, puppet, ansible, chef) and web servers (apache, nginx, gunicorn).

If all this sounds great to you, you can send your resume to rrhh@a3sec.com. Put this reference "Full Stack Developer". What do we offer? Benefits, flexible hours, remote work and a rewarding environment.

On our A3Sec website we show you the details of other vacancies that we regularly open in order to keep growing as a team.
